Servant Leader Development

We desire to equip youth to grow as servant leaders in God's Kingdom. Here are some ways youth of different ages can grow as servant leaders with SJL Youth.
Alive 6/5 (5th/6th grade)
- TEAM: serve as a shepherd for Children's Chapel at St. John on Sunday mornings during worship
7/8th grade:
- Worship leadership: acolytes, communion assistants, ushers, greeters
- Rescue Mission Children's Chapel: once a month, we run children's chapel for homeless children at the Rescue Mission
- serve @ Epic: our event focused on "Experiencing Passion In Christ" includes running a day camp fin the mountains for homeless children from the Rescue Mission
High School:
- Leadership Overnight: Sep 4-5th: Focusing on Christ to start the year and setting spiritual goals together.
- Confirmation: a year-long discipleship process to equip you to follow Christ and become a servant leader in His Kingdom
- High School Leadership team: we meet weekly on Wed nights from 7:30-9pm at Corey and Danielle's house for deeper discipleship, prayer, and planning of youth ministries. Fill out an application by Aug 31st. Starting this September.
