3rd saturDay Men's group-Meets every 3rd Saturday of the
month at the church, from 7:00-8:15 am.

3rd saturDay is a gathering for the men of St John and our friends held
at time when most of us have no conflicts, and is over in plenty of time
to get on with the rest of the day.
It is NOT our goal to add just more thing to your list of things you
"should" do. Each of us already have more than enough things we do
because we think we "should," or because we convince ourselves that it is
the "right thing to do." 3rd SaturDay is open to any man - we encourage
you to bring friends and neighbors, even those outside our church - who
desires to be encouraged and challenged in his Christian walk by other men
of faith. Come as you are - no preparation required. There is plenty of
hot coffee and fresh donuts to jump start the day, and there will be a
short message by Pastor Mark or another member of the leadership team,
with some time built in to explore what it means to live out a Christian
life in 2008.
We believe that to follow Christ means we must live in community, where
we can support, encourage, challenge and inspire one another. To do that
as men for other men, we have to come to know one another - 3rd SaturDay
is one opportunity for this to occur in a low pressure, but real way. We
hope you will join us.
