The need is great in the mission field of the world, whether it’s down the street in Roanoke or half-way around the world. We focus a significant amount of resources on missions, near and far.
Our focus internationally is on Zambia. Mission teams meet throughout the year to raise funds and plan trips to minister to those in need. You can be involved with this mission without leaving home! While we have mission trips to this location, those who support the ministry and mission at home are needed just as much! Volunteers are needed year-round to assist our efforts. In Zambia, Karen ReMine, CEO of OMNI (Orphan Medical Network International) continues to make great strides at the OMNI village. They currently have about 165 children at the school. With the help of sponsorships from St. John and other churches, OMNI provides food, clothing and education for these children. Periodically OMNI sets up medical clinics where St. John is invited to provide medical and dental care.
