Mark handing out First Communion Certificates 2003
St. John provides First
Communion classes for our congregation. These classes are
announced in our bulletin and newsletter. At St. John children must
meet certain requirements including completing the First Communion
class--generally a Saturday morning study undertaken with their
parents--to partake of the Lord's Supper. Below are the banners
completed by a recent First Communion class.
Children who have not had first communion may
not partake of the Lord's Supper, but are welcome to come to the altar
and receive a blessing.
